What happened to IGTV?
Instagram retired the IGTV name and folded long videos into regular video posts and reels. Many older links still use the /tv/ path, and they keep working here.
Long videos can be large files. Because the download goes straight from our server to your browser, you will see the normal progress bar of your browser while it saves.

Do old /tv/ links still work?
Yes. We read them the same way as other video links, as long as the video is still public.
How big are the files?
It depends on the length and resolution. A ten minute video can easily be a few hundred megabytes, so a Wi-Fi connection helps.
The download stopped halfway. What now?
Download links are valid for a short time. Press Download again; if the link has expired we fetch a fresh one automatically.
What format do I get?
An MP4 file with its sound, the same version Instagram streams in the app.
Can I download a whole IGTV series?
