Instagram downloader
Save Instagram posts in their original quality
Photos, videos, reels and carousels from public accounts. Paste the link and we will figure out the rest.
About this downloader
One box for every kind of Instagram post
You do not need to pick a tool for each format. Paste any public post link and Parallax Downloader works out whether it is a single photo, a video, a reel or a carousel, then lists every file it contains.
Each file comes with a preview, so you can check it before saving. Videos keep their sound, photos keep their full resolution and carousels keep their original order.
How it works
- 1
Copy the link
In the Instagram app, tap the three dots or the share icon on a post and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.
- 2
Paste it here
Paste the link into the box above and press Download. The page reads the post and shows what it found.
- 3
Save the files
Pick a file and press Download, or use Download all for a carousel. Files go to your usual downloads folder.
Why people use it
No sign up
Open the page, paste a link and save. There is no account, app or browser extension to install.
Original files
We pass along the files Instagram and X already serve, without compressing them again or adding a watermark.
Phone or computer
Everything runs in the browser, so it works the same on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
No download history
The service does not store your links or tie them to you. Results stay in a short cache for ten minutes at most. Our hosting providers keep standard access logs.
Frequently asked questions
What can I download from Instagram?
Photos, videos, reels, longer videos once known as IGTV, and every slide of a carousel, as long as the post is public. Stories, highlights and profile pictures are not supported.
Does it cost anything?
No. The downloader is free and there are no paid tiers. If you make a lot of requests quickly we may ask for a short automated check to keep the service fair.
Can I save posts from private accounts?
No. We only read posts that anyone can see without logging in. Private, deleted and age restricted posts return an error.
Where do the files go?
Your browser saves them like any other download. On a phone that is usually the Downloads folder or the Files app; from there you can move photos and videos to your gallery.
Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No. You never enter an Instagram password here, and we do not use anyone's account to fetch posts.
Will the creator know that I saved their post?
We do not contact anyone or interact with the post, so no notification is sent by us. Please still respect the creator and ask before sharing their work.
